<p>What is Restless Leg Syndrome ?</p>

<p>Restless legs syndrome (RLS) is a neurological disorder characterized by not so nice sensations in the legs and an irrepressible urge to fidget when at rest in an attempt to relieve these feelings. RLS sensations are frequently described by individuals as burning, creeping, tugging, or like insects crawling inside the legs. Often called paresthesias (abnormal sensations) or dysesthesias (unpleasant abnormal sensations), the feelings range in severity from uncomfortable to irritating to downright painful.<br />
The most distinctive or odd aspect of the condition is that lying down and attempting  to relax activates the symptoms. As a result, many  people with RLS have problems falling asleep and staying asleep. Left untreated, the condition causes exhaustion and daytime tiredness. Many people with RLS state that their job, personal relations, and activities of day by day living are strongly affected as a consequence of their exhaustion. They are often unable to concentrate, have impaired recollection, or fail to accomplish daily tasks.</p>
<p>Medication for Restless Leg Syndrome Some researchers estimate that RLS affects as many as 12 million Americans. However, others estimate a much higher occurrence since RLS is thought to be underdiagnosed and, in some cases, misdiagnosed. Some people with RLS will not seek remedial attention, believing that they will not be taken sincerely, that their symptoms are too mild, or that their condition is not treatable. Some physicians wrongly attribute the symptoms to anxiety, sleeplessness, stress, arthritis, muscle cramps, or just plain getting old.</p>
<p>Medication for Restless Leg Syndrome RLS occurs in both genders, although the incidence may be a little higher in women. Although the syndrome may commence at any age, even as early as childhood, most patients who are severely affected are middle-aged or older. In addition, the severity of the disorder appears to increase with age. Older patients experience symptoms more regularly and for longer periods of time.<br />
More than 80 percent of people with RLS also experience a more common condition known as periodic limb movement disorder (PLMD). PLMD is characterized by involuntary leg twitching or jerking movements during sleep that typically occur every 10 to 60 seconds, sometimes throughout the night. The symptoms cause repetitive awakening and severely disrupted sleep. Unlike RLS, the movements caused by PLMD are involuntary,people have no control over them. Although many patients with RLS also develop PLMD, most people with PLMD do not experience RLS. Like RLS, the cause of PLMD is unknown.<br />

Whether you were always fit or not, every woman should consider an exercise program while pregnant. After consulting your baby doctor, you should put together a program that works for you.  Your body will be going through a lot of changes during the course of a pregnancy, it would be best to be prepared.<br />
Your first step in an pregnancy exercise program is to decide how much you want to accomplish with the program.  Are you continuing with a program that you had in place before you were pregnant?  Is this a new exercise program that you have put in place just for your pregnancy?  Answer this question and you will create a pregnancy exercise program.</p>

The first part of any exercise plan is a stretching program.  Gentle stretching exercises for your neck, shoulders, hips, arms, and legs should be done on a daily basis to keep your body limber.  In addition, you should start a breathing program early on.  The exact stretching exercise for pregnancy can vary. </p>
<p>Pregnancy is a good time to begin a low impact exercise program.  Yoga enthusiasts are always looking for new recruits.  The program includes the breathing and stretching exercises that are part of an exercise plan.  A pregnancy Yoga program will get your muscles limber and your breathing in order. It should also allow you to clear your mind and relax.  Other traditional low impact programs such as Pilates and Tai Chi also are perfect when modified for pregnancy.  Let your instructor know that you are pregnant. Kegel exercises will also help you focus on your pelvic muscles.  This can become extremely important if you are trying to avoid incontinence problems. </p>
<p>Pregnant Women’s Exercise Plan…..<br />
Two of the most traditional exercises also should also be incorporated in a pregnancy health plan.  A daily walking program will stretch out the muscles.  Try power walking around your neighbourhood.  Without much planning you can do this everyday.  Swimming may also be a good way to get exercise, as long as you take it easy.  The nice thing about swimming is that you can stay cool while giving your muscles a workout.</p>
<p>What about more active exercises during pregnancy?  If you enjoy an active lifestyle, and your doctor agrees, you should be able to continue this active lifestyle during the first and part of the second trimester.  And don’t forsake your trips to the gym.  A jogging and tennis (not Wimbeldon) are fine.  Limit away from more active exercises that could lead to accidents even when you are not pregnant   (Anything that involves skates or horses).  If you chose an active plan, make sure that you scale back your schedule prior to pregnancy.</p>
<p>There is no simple way around it: pregnancy is a gruelling physical experience.  A good pregnant women’s exercise plan, like any similar experience, can make this easier.  Stretching, low impact exercise, even more active exercises can help make you stay throughout. Exercise can always lead to a better lifestyle.  During a pregnancy, an appropriate program can help you cope. Best of luck</p>

When you find out you have a little one coming, your first thoughts are of the blessing that is on the way.  Your preparation probably surrounds how to get the family, the house, and every other detail in order.  But what about taking care of you?  If you always were in shape, how do you stay in shape?  And if your idea of staying in shape was a quick trip to the couch, is it too late to get in shape now?  What are some good fitness ideas for staying in shape when you are pregnant?<br />
The initial trimester will be a physically and mentally exhausting period for a mum to be because of the energy expended with all the changes in her body and the development of a child.</p>

We are going to start out with the same caveat we would bring to any exercise and pregnancy regime: consult your doctor first.  If he or she gives you the green light, then put together a program.  Then start with some stretching exercise.  Try some rotations of the neck, arms, and shoulders.  Lie on your back and try some light leg lifts.</p>
<p>If you are a fan of Yoga, you know it will certainly fit into your pregnancy.  If you are not already a fan, this is a good a time as any to get with it.  Yoga uses breathing and relaxing techniques, something any pregnant woman should become familiar with anyway.  Yoga also will help keep your muscles in shape<br />
But what if you don’t want to push yourself during pregnancy?  Can you jog?  If it is okay with the doc, you should be able to keep running as long as you are comfortable.  Once you are about halfway to term, you should taper off.  You also might want to replace your jogging routine with a power walk. </p>

Kegel exercises will also help you focus on your pelvic muscles.  This can become extremely important if you are trying to avoid incontinence problems.  To test these muscles, try starting and stopping the flow of urine.  If you are unable to stop the flow, you should include pelvic floor exercises as part of your pregnancy fitness program.<br />
If you are feeling faint or giddy stop the exercise intensity or discontinue exercising altogether and grab a carbohydate meal or snack.<br />

Nutrition is a key element of a healthy pregnancy.  Gestational diabetes, spina bifida, and many health related problems can be avoided with proper diet.  If you are used to pushing your eating limits at home and work, now is the time to stop.  If you are running from diet to diet to get back to your college weight, better put that idea on hold.  Below is an outline of what to eat during pregnancy.</p>

Good nourishment during this time is essential if you want to prevent problems like anemia, hemorrhage, dizziness, nausea, low blood pressure, fatigue etc.</p>

First of all, there are certain foods that you should avoid during pregnancy.  Do not drink alcohol.  Lower your intake of caffeine or, if possible avoid it all together.  The fat of portion food should be less than 30% (This also applies when you are not pregnant). Also limit your intake of sugar. Finally, you should avoid foods that are known for carrying bacteria, such as raw eggs (salmonella), raw meats, and some cheeses.</p>

Should you raise your calorie intake during pregnancy?  It all depends on the trimester. During the second trimester, you should take in roughly 300 extra calories.  During the final trimester, this can be raised to 500 calories.There are so many foods that do different wonderful things (and bad) to our bodies that it is sometimes confusing as to what we really need&#8230;. and when.<br />
Food Groups<br />
There are several food groups that are required when you are pregnant.  You should be getting whole grains.  Protein is extremely important to your growing baby.  Dairy products are also a required.  Fruits and veggies, always good for you, should be part of your pregnancy diet.</p>
<p>Vitamins<br />
There are several vitamins and minerals that need to be part of your pregnancy nutrition.  Folic acid is key to ensuring that the baby’s neural tube has closed.  Since this is early in the development of the fetus, woman who are in their child bearing years should ensure they get plenty of green vegetables.</p>
<p>Vitamin D is important for calcium absorption for expecting mothers.  The most consistent source for this would be milk.  Low fat milk is acceptable to get your daily requirements.</p>
<p>Iron is extremely important for the mother and child.  Aside from the needs of the baby, pregnancy can bring on anemia in the expecting mother. High iron foods such as meat, whole grains and green leafy vegetables should help fulfil this requirement.  Vitamin C will help process the iron. At the same time, your doctor should supply you with iron supplement pills.</p>
<p>Zinc is recommended for pregnant mothers to help with labor.  Although not directly affecting the child’s growth it is still important especially since most woman do get their daily requirement of zinc.</p>
<p>These nutrition guides for pregnant women will allow you to have a healthy pregnancy. Combined with rest and fitness, you will be doing your best for both you and your child.<br />

Proper nutrition during pregnancy is vital to you and your baby. At the same time, you may not want to gain more weight than you need to.  Although there are worse things to worry about, you do not want to focus on dieting with a newborn to take care of.   How to maintain proper pregnancy weight?  Follow these diet guidelines.</p>

<p> Your first priority is feeding your unborn child.  Do not skimp on the right foods for your baby.  Include at least two portions of fruit, six portions of grains.  You should also include four or more servings of vegetables and dairy protects.  Also include two or three servings of protein.  This diet should help ensure that your child gets the proper vitamin.  Your doctor will supplement this with vitamins.  Iron, Vitamin C, and folic acid are all needed for the healthy growth of your baby.  Finally, you should have no alcohol and very limited caffeine.</p>
<p> Pregnant or not, you should be limiting fat to 30% of your calorie intake.  This is especially true when you are pregnant.  Check labels and avoid fatty meals.  Low fat milk will cover your dairy needs just as good as whole milk.  Sweets are not part of the pregnancy diet either, sorry. </p>
<p> There are other foods to avoid during pregnancy.  Seafood that is known to be high in mercury, such as swordfish, should be avoided. Artificial sweeteners should also be avoided.  Any foods that are a source of potential bacteria, such as raw meat, eggs, or certain cheeses should not be in your diet.</p>
<p> How much weight should you gain during pregnancy? You should expect to gain about 25 pounds. Whatever you do, do not try to lose weight during pregnancy.  This can put your child at risk.  If you are already worried about your weight before pregnancy, you can limit your weight gain.  As always, consult your doctor.</p>
<p>How many more calories should you add to your diet during pregnancy? Your calorie count should increase by roughly 300 during the second trimester and 500 during the last trimester.  Staying within these guidelines should keep your weight gain under control.</p>
<p> The above information should keep you allow you to stay healthy, fit, and as comfortable as possible during your pregnancy.  Make sure you keep these in mind when creating your proper pregnancy diet.</p>

The best way to learn to blog is to get involved with blogs that interest you.  It can be a passion of yours or it can be a writer that you enjoy reading.  If you admire a writer, think about why.  Is it his or her writing style?  Is it the format of the site?  Do they get a lot of traffic (most important)?  Find some other people who cover the same subject, contrast their styles.  Consolidate the best of what you find with your own style to create a blog that will attract readers.  Work everyday at making your blog work.  As you blog more, you will find that you had more to say than you thought.  You will find new ways of covering and observing your blog subject.  You can become your true self as you blog.  And as you write on a daily basis you will find that you may create new views that you had never thought about before.  Then you can turn these ideas into a profitable venture.</p>

<p>Do you have to be a highly skilled in something to train people? All the best people in any field have coaches.  They may, on occasion, switch coaches, but they would never say “since I’m the best, I can go without.” They rely on the coaching skills that they can bring to the table. </p>
<p>Whose to say that you need to learn to blog from a fellow blogger?  There are many skills that people from other fields can bring to the blogging field.</p>
<p>Blogging is just writing.  Since we first entered school we have been taught composition.  All those grammar lessons that made us better writers over the years can be put to work.  You should find your authentic writing style and use it in your blogging. You will not only learn to blog, you will become a blogmaster.</p>
<p>Because the blogging style relates to journalism, perhaps the best background for training is newspaper writing or editing.  Great journalist, particularly a columnist creates a following.  This is a skill that needs to be appreciated.</p>
<p>But, as we have said above, to blog is to find your own voice.  How do you learn to blog? Perhaps blogging is a chance to find a writing style that suits you best.  Perhaps the best way to learn is to blog by trial and error until you have found what works.</p>

Why would you consider a jump higher program? Do you already think you are the best jumper on the court?  How are you getting that advantage? Is it natural or do you work at your muscle strength.  Do you realize that even if that is true, you are still not unleashing your full potential?  You could be emphasizing muscle strength when muscle speed could make you a better player.  <a href="http://tinyurl.com/ml5g6l"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-90" title="athlete jump" src="http://bbbbbbbbbbbb.files.wordpress.com/2009/09/athlete-jump4.jpg?w=470" alt="athlete jump"   /></a></p>
<p>In basketball, jumping means everything.  The set shot game went out with the Edsel.  The world’s greatest athletes play basketball in the sky.  And wouldn’t you want to:</p>
<p>    * Improve your dunkabilty<br />
    * Block shots with ease<br />
    * Become the chairman of the boards<br />
    * Bring up your number<br />
    * And just dazzle them on the court</p>
<p>We have all seen how outstanding players separate themselves from the rest with their ability to leap higher and take control of the game.  At the highest levels, the best players can leap over their opponents.  These are the players who dominate the action.  A jump higher program will put you with this elite group.</p>
<p>On the other hand, you will not make it far in basketball without a great leaping ability. <br />
From one end of the court to the other, you will left behind. You won’t be much use.</p>
<p>You will have no problem finding someone who says they can make you better.  Coaches, skill instructors all will line up with the “best program” that will make you jump higher. There is no shortage of advice. They know the advantage of a jump higher program.</p>
<p>If you think that spending hours at the gym every day of the week is how you would like to spend your time, then by all means go ahead.  Doing the same thing over and over, hoping that nothing goes wrong along the way may work for you.  And when you are done, you still will not have realized the full potential of your leg muscles.</p>
